A new terraced lawn sat between fresh dry-stone retaining walls on a sloping Lakeland garden. We graded and levelled the sub-base, raked in screened topsoil and laid fresh rolls of turf tight to the stone edges — finishing flush with the wall heads for a crisp, level lawn.
Each strip was butted, staggered and lightly rolled, then dressed and watered in. Two terraces, one continuous green carpet, ready for years of use.
