Reclaimed Granite
Cobble Driveway

Setts, kerbs & drainage Lancashire Recently completed

The brief

A private driveway entrance off a country lane, finished in reclaimed granite setts to match the existing dry-stone walling. We took it from the road tie-in right through to the curved entrance — sub-base, edge restraints, linear ACO drainage and the cobbles themselves, all bedded on a wet mortar haunch and brushed up with kiln-dried sand.

The mix of grey, pink and slate-blue setts was hand-sorted on site to keep the colour spread even across the run, with neat coursing into the curved dry-stone walls either side.
