Installing an
Astroturf Games Area

Full MUGA build Fylde Coast Recently completed

The brief

A local sports club commissioned us to build a brand-new astroturf multi-use games area alongside their existing pitch. The job covered everything below the carpet — bulk dig, formation, kerbs, sub-base, drainage, perimeter fencing and the tarmac base course ready for the synthetic turf overlay.

Working a confined site next to a live pitch meant tidy muck-away, accurate levels and a hard deadline to hand over to the surfacing contractor. Below is a walk-through of the stages on site.
